(WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR BACK FROM YOU SO PLEASE LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK... FEED BACK IS A GOOD THING...)

My Personal Notes for Today:

Good Day to you all:
Today we have been asked to look at "When You See God’s Grace, He Sees Your Faith".
I know that when I was reading this from Pastor Prince I was thinking what and WOW all at the same time.
I would like to look at a number of things today that I think that we as followers of Jesus Christ can take away with us and use in our walks and lives today.
let's look at what the bible tells us. (Please note that these are the verses that are used)
1>Ephesians 2:8
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God—
2>Matthew 9:20-22
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
20 Then suddenly a woman who had been suffering from hemorrhages for twelve years came up behind him and touched the fringe of his cloak,
21 for she said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be made well.”
22 Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, “Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And instantly the woman was made well.
I know that after reading the bible people and even myself have questions:
1.I know that God’s promises are true, but how can I be sure that His promises will come true in my life?”
2. Did people in the bible have these same questions about "Grace" ?
3. Did people in the bible question they're understanding about "Faith"?
Now comes the fun part the answers:
Answer for question one:
* Must of the time we as followers of Jesus do this: (the following text is from Pastor Prince) " if you want God’s promises to be sure in your life, you cannot depend on yourself. If you depend on yourself — your obedience, goodness, service and even faith — you will not be able to receive God’s promises.
The following text is what we as followers of Jesus Christ need to do:(This text is from Pastor Prince) "But when you depend on God’s grace — His unmerited, unearned, undeserved favor toward you — that is when His promises become sure in your life."

** Yes people did have questions about they're "Grace and Faith" we see this from Matt.9:20-22 we see her faith lived out and we also see her heart. (The following is what I feel seeing her faith) "His grace abounding toward her, so much so that she said, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.” and then we see Jesus Answer her Jesus stopped, turned around and said to her, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.
After seeing this it still I know leaves me with a question for todays church (Please note that when I use the word church I'm not talking about a building. I'm talking about people all over the world that call them self's "Christians".) why are we not seeing this lived out today? Let me stop right here and just tell some of you that are reading this that I total understand all about the 90% of the work in the church is done by 10% of the people (Members).
Now I love how Pastor Prince sum's this up "When the woman saw His grace, God saw her faith! And so it was by grace, through faith, that God’s promise became sure in her life."
Now I hope that you are still reading this post at this time...
How can I get this to work for me????
YES YES Here is what is wanted from God "God wants you to see His grace. And when you see His grace, He sees your faith. God says, “For by grace are you saved through faith.”
Now here is something that I feel that was just so cool (It's what I personal call a small word study.) "The Greek word for “saved”, sozo, doesn’t just mean to save from hell, but also to heal, preserve and make whole."
Now in closing : When you see God’s grace, He sees your faith, and you will receive your breakthrough.
It's my prayer for you today that you will have your eyes opened to see how God having you Grace and Faith to be walked out in your life and to be able to let others see it.
Blessings,
Rev. David Betts

Day 11 of 2013

Look at today’s Devotional By Joseph Princes
(READ IT FRIST and then read my personal feelings on it.)
(WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR BACK FROM YOU SO PLEASE LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK... FEED BACK IS A GOOD THING...)
My Personal Notes for Today:
Good Day to you all:
In today's devotional Pastor Prince's ask us to look at "Believing Is Receiving" . In just these two words are very powerful. I feel that we do not understand what power that both of these words hold for us as followers of Jesus Christ.
I would like us to take the time to look at these two words here is the understanding of these words as told my the dictionary:
Word One: believe |biˈlēv| verb [ trans. ]
1 accept (something) as true; feel sure of the truth of : the superintendent believed Lancaster's story | [with clause ] Christians believe that Jesus rose from the dead. • accept the statement of (someone) as true : he didn't believe her or didn't want to know. • [ intrans. ] have faith, esp. religious faith : there are those on the fringes of the Church who do not really believe. • ( believe something of someone) feel sure that (someone) is capable of a particular action : I wouldn't have believed it of Lois—what an extraordinary woman! 2 [with clause ] hold (something) as an opinion; think or suppose : I believe we've already met | things were not as bad as the experts believed | humu-humu are, I believe, shrimp fritters | ( believe someone/something to be) four men were believed to be trapped.
Word Two:
• (in Christian services) eat or drink (the Eucharistic bread or wine) : he received Communion and left. • admit as a member : hundreds of converts were received into the Church. When we see these words and read the understanding of them I feel that it helps us to see what God is speaking to and throw Pastor Prince's as well as to us today.
In Closing: "Believe in God’s goodness and love toward you, and you will receive what you are believing for."
Blessings,
Rev. David Betts

My Personal Notes for Today:
Good Morning:
In today's Devotional we are ask to look at "A Sleeping Partner Who Benefits" Now with in this the first word that jumps out at me when I see this is the word "Benefits" and I love how Pastor Prince discusses about it in the following: "In business, sleeping or silent partners don’t work but still take home huge profits. " We can see this in the bible with looking at Abraham.
In Closing I love the following: "Your covenant blessings are guaranteed because Jesus, your representative, has already fulfilled all the conditions on your behalf."

Day 9 of 2013

My Personal Notes for Today:
Good Evening

This is totally new to me. Talking about blogging in the evening to all of you. So Today's Devotional looks at "Guaranteed By Covenant" I must be up front with all of you that this is something that is TOTALLY new to me to be studying. It's something that makes me very happy and sad and at a total non understanding about this subject... But As I was reading the following things jumped off the page to me and it's working on my heart. ..

* What is a covenant? It is like a contract. Yet, it is more than a contract. A contract is binding only for a period of time, like five years or seven years, or until certain terms are fulfilled. But a covenant is perpetual. It is permanent. The only way out is through death. That is why marriage is a covenant, not a contract. It is permanent — “Till death do us part”.
Note: The Biggest thing that I loved about reading the above part is "Till death do us prat" I truly love death but Im even more in love with the word "part"

*The word "BLESSER" just jumped off the page at me... I have not seen this work before and so I looked it up...
here is what I came up with...

Information: blesser bless'er n.
WORD HISTORY The verb bless comes from Old English blœdsian, blēdsian, blētsian, "to bless, wish happiness, consecrate." Although the Old English verb has no cognates in any other Germanic language, it can be shown to derive from the Germanic noun *blōdan, "blood." Blœdsian therefore literally means "to consecrate with blood, sprinkle with blood." The Angles, Saxons, and Jutes, the early Germanic migrants to Britain, used blœdsian for their pagan sacrifices. After they converted to Christianity, blœdsian acquired new meanings as a result of its use in translations of the Latin Bible, but it kept its pagan Germanic senses as well.

Read more about the word go to: http://www.answers.com/topic/bless#ixzz2HXGbzKkO

* The breakthrough you are waiting for is guaranteed by covenant!
Note: the BREAKTHROUGH is GUARANTEED to US in and throw a COVENANT with the LORD JESUS CHRIST.. .

In Closing: God has bound Himself to a covenant, an iron-clad guarantee of His blessings and provision in your life.

Blessings,
Rev. David Betts

Day 8 of 2013

Look at today’s Devotional By Joseph Princes
(READ IT FRIST and then read my personal feelings on it.)
(WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR BACK FROM YOU SO PLEASE LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK... FEED BACK IS A GOOD THING...)
My Personal Notes for Today:
Today I must tell all of you that are readers to this blog that I just wanted to stay in the bed this morning.. But I know that I need to get up.. So now Im starting to feel that power of the holy spirit come to work... Now today Pastor Prince's is having us look at "Worry
In :
Matthew 6:27
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
27 And can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your span of life?
The Lord talks to us about this issue and so my question to myself is "Why do I worry about things?"
The following is from Pastor Prince's writing this morning:
"My friend, when you worry, you are actually believing that the devil has the power to make inroads into your life that God cannot protect you from. But when you refuse to worry, you are putting your faith in God. You have more confidence in His love and power working for you than in the devil’s ability to harm you! When you refuse to worry, but choose to rest in the finished work of Christ, you will see the manifestation of your blessing. You will see your miracle!"
I just want to take a minute to let you know the words that jumped off the page at me when I was reading this... the following is what touched my heart " You have more confidence in His love and power working for you than in the devil’s ability to harm you! When you refuse to worry, but choose to rest in the finished work of Christ, you will see the manifestation of your blessing"
I will close with this... As I looked at the "thought for the DAY" and Im going to just use the same wording that Pastor Prince's used here " When you refuse to worry, but choose to rest in the finished work of Christ, you will see the manifestation of your blessing."
So It's my Prayer for you today that we (Myself in this as well) could see Jesus Christ in all that we do and that The people that we talk to today that they could see Jesus in us and feel his love come from us.
Blessings,
Rev. David Betts

Day 7 of 2013

Look at today’s Devotional By Joseph Princes
(READ IT FRIST and then read my personal feelings on it.)

My Personal Notes for Today:
Good Day :Today's Devotional is something that I think that we as pastors and teachers and followers of Jesus Christ need to hear each day that the Lord keeps us here on this earth.

I'm starting to see something that is building... The question is can you see it (hint: Go back and look and read the last three days devotional's and see if you can see it...)

The five(5) following stars are what jumped out at me today as I was reading...
(Please note that I am adding words to some of Pastor Prince's questions)
* The Gospel Daves In Every Situation
* When you hear the gospel of Christ, do you really(Truly) believe it with your heart?
* What is the good news that God wants you to know in your heart, which will release the
power and salvation of God into your situation?
* righteousness comes because you have faith in His blood, not your good behavior, to make you righteous. It is from faith to faith, not faith to works, or works to works.
*Hearing and believing the good news will release the power of God into your situation.

It's my prayer for you today that the Lord will keep you and teach you as it child of him that you will have his eyes to see and his heart to love others.

Blessings,
Rev. David Betts
